Area of Greatest Need

The CPTC Foundation has more than 100 accounts to support scholarships, emergency assistance, programs, students, staff and faculty. Donors who wish to make the greatest impact may choose to donate toward the Area of Greatest Need. Funds are directed by the CPTC Foundation Board of Directors, as needed, to the most pressing needs that emerge, which include support for scholarships, emergency assistance, and vital support to CPTC and its students.

Scholarships

For a complete list of all scholarship funds, please contact the CPTC Foundation office at 253-589-6082.

General Scholarships: Scholarships enable students to focus on their education by lessening their financial burden. Scholarships are merit-based and competitive. Students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA to qualify. Scholarships are awarded on a quarterly basis with a minimum quarterly award of $600. General scholarships are open to all qualifying students regardless of program.

Named Scholarships: Named scholarships have been established by and in support of specific programs or for specific groups of students (i.e. veterans, single parent, need-based, women, international, etc.) For more information on establishing a named scholarship, please contact the foundation office for specific guidelines.

Endowed Scholarships: Endowed scholarships have been established through a significant contribution into an endowment fund. Endowed scholarships support scholarships for specific programs or for specific groups of students (i.e. veterans, single parent, need-based, women, international, etc.) For more information on establishing an endowed scholarship, please contact the foundation office for specific guidelines.
